Don't know why it's taken me so long to finally try this restaurant but I did so last night. It was OK. Onion bhajis were no where near as good as the Nobins but to be fair, I've never had any as good as the Nobins!

Main course was very good and a good sized portion with lovely nan bread and rice.

Prices were OK and the place was clean and welcoming. Staff were attentive but not 'in your face'

All in all - I liked it!

Before I lived in the Grove I called in person and ordered a curry from here a few years ago. All I can remember is that England were playing on the TV that evening and I missed every single goal due to running to the loo. Upwards of 20 plus visits that evening. Never had anything so horrendous before or since. I may give it another go some day.

Ive eaten curries from a few places in the Grove now.

Red Rose Restaurant and Curry Knights Take Away on the Boulevard.
Both ok but when it comes to curry I personally prefer my own. My South Indian Garlic Chicken and Chicken Jalfrezi will beat any take away in the Grove hands down.
