Well its now all over Stockport Facebook groups ... I found this posted in two groups ...

"With 'Marketgate' fresh in peoples mind and two of her colleagues resigning from the party, I hope that the people of the 'Manor' ward will really think carefully on behalf of themselves, but also with the good of Stockport as a whole and not vote for Cllr Sue Derbyshire in May. She beat the Labour candidate in 2012 by a mere 24 votes (they both had 44% of the votes cast) and it would appear logical for Conservative and Independent Manor voters to think about lending their vote to labour! Whilst a hung council with a potential labour/conservative coalition will be a challenge for all, it must be better than yet more of the same from Derbyshire and her cronies. This woman is a disgrace and has brought the Lib Dems into disrepute with her high-handed and arrogant attitude to one and all."

My vote in Hazel Grove won't count for much in this, but I do share the sentiment and would certainly lend my vote in such circumstances.
