Is this guy from Hazel Grove?

A spiritual healer who sexually assaulted eight women and children over 25 years has been sentenced.
Michael Ireland (14/01/1953), of Bosden Fold, Stockport, admitted a catalogue of 25 sex offences, which is broken down as follows:
- Sexual activity with a child x3
- Sexual assault x10
- Causing a person to engage in sexual activity without consent x2
- Assault by penetration x4
- Indecent assault x6
At Minshull Street Crown Court today, Tuesday 5 March 2013, he was sentenced to 16 years with three years extended license.
Ireland has been ordered to sign the sex offenders register for life and is subject to a sexual offences prevention order.
Ireland advertised himself on his own website as a ‘Psychic Clairvoyant & Reiki Master’.
In total he admitted sexually assaulting six women and two children.
He abused the women and one of the children while working as a spiritual healer.
He would often assault them while holding one-to-one ‘healing’ sessions.
The offences spanned more than two decades, with offences being committed from the mid 80s to about September 2010.
Detective Constable Rebecca Haley, of the Public Protection Investigation Unit in Stockport, said: “Ireland is a predatory sex offender who over more than two decades sexually assaulted six women and two children.
“He was a revered Reiki Master, spiritual healer and clairvoyant who people went to for comfort, help or support.
“When they were at their most trusting and vulnerable he abused his position and the faith placed in him for his own sexual gratification.
“This has been a complex and protracted investigation due to the number of women who continued to come forward and I am pleased they have now seen justice served.
“Greater Manchester Police would encourage anybody who has been a victim of sexual abuse to come forward with the confidence that their concerns will be taken seriously and dealt with sensitively.”
