Easy, it's the cars fault.

Like Coleman, I'm no fan of cyclists either but for a cyclist to get hit on the pavement, then the cars driver must of been a lunatic. It sounds like the cyclist would of been no better off if he was on the road.

Maybe this was the very reason the cyclist was on the pavement in the first place? Thinking it was safer. You also have to think, could if of just as easily been a pedestrian?

Judging from the style of driving of cars on Bramall Moor Lane wanting to turn left at Sainsbury's, I can easily see how this happened, they seem to fly up onto the pavement without a second thought for anyone near by.

I assume that this wasn't a shared pavement for cyclists and pedestrians, like we have in various places in Stockport?
