The Romper

Ridge End, Marple, Stockport, SK6 7ET

0 Area has not been reviewed yet

The inn, formally the Farmers Arms, had the local nickname The Cat. This progressed to The Romping Kittling, which in time was abridged to its present name - The Romper. Now arguable one of the most notable inns in Cheshire.

Since Emma & Gavin took over in 2007, this beautiful old inn has been furnished with fine taste and distinction to carefully preserve its authentic features. This combined with a contemporary twist gives a welcoming feel to all. The Romper's carefully kept cellars and well stocked bar, independent from brewery ties, draw a discriminating clientele from the whole of Cheshire, South Lancashire and beyond.
