In 1944 I was evacuated to Ynysybwl and was billeted with a Miss Brown and her brother.I have many fond memories of them and of Ynysybwl. I believe Miss Brown was a School teacher, maybe retired then. I wonder what became of them. I remember just across the railway lines there was a pool fed from a stream that it was possible to swim in.
