Utter bile....sorry, but if you are trying to introduce people to the photo section at least use something to attract peoples attention.

I have to agree, the standard of photography is pretty dire...

I personally feel it's a good picture 'technically', well composed etc.

But I have to admit the subject matter leaves a lot to be desired. There are better pictures though.

Gawd love JDSUP4IT for posting them up on the boards in the first place - all contributions welcome.

I think these photos are a good record to be honest.

Incidentally, is a café or some such going to open in the building beside those cobbles? Has anyone heard owt?

Well composed, you're having a giraffe.

There is nothing to lead the viewer into the subject, there are several stumps in the foreground which distracts, there the overhang of a building top left which is annoying not to mention the car bumper in the opp. diagonal. I think its been taken early morning which is the best of the days light yet this shot doesn't doesn't stand out

Ok poor choice of words, not so much composed well as taken well, like i said good technically just not so great subject matter!

Looking at the other pictures he/she posted up, i'm guessing the intention was more record keeping then an attempt at art anyway!

Come 30/40 years time when its all changed you'll at least be able to show them to your grand kids and tell them how grim it all used to be!

It's a good photo. Technically good. I think that anyone would have difficulty finding good subject matter in hazel grove. lol. And I agree it serves as a good historical record.

Given the amount of posts there've been in here about Asda, I think the picture's theme is quite appropriate ...
