Badger RIP

Took Mrs Blue and dog onto Mirlees yesterday pm only to be greeted by the sight of a dead badger at the Barlows Lane entrance, not a mark on the poor fellow/lady.
Question.......what kills badgers without leaving a mark on the body?

Probably some kind of poisen (I can't spell that word for some reason). Could be natural or man made. Maybe it was just "old age", even badgers have a life span :o)

It was lying in the gutter of the road last Thursday. It was on the Newby Road side just near the crown of the single line railway bridge on the Mirlees side.

Even badgers can have hard nights, maybe it had a few too many at weatherspoons and couldn't get quite back to his set
