Torkington park before 5PM
11th July 2011 at 10:33PM

I often go for a J and a few bottles of White Lightning with a few rockers in the early afternoon. I've noticed its becoming less and less attractive to do this. There seems to be a small group of coffin dodgers hanging around the flat areas of grass who are constantly playing bowls, doddering about and throwing 'Werthers Original' packets on the floor and letting their colostomy bags leak all around. has anyone else encountered this behaviour from the same group of them? Some wear clothes from charity shops. Can anything be done?

This guy almost certainly talks sense and knocks veteran forum posters down a peg or two. Haha.

If there are in your opinion far too many "coffin dodgers"(what a nasty term)about, where do you suggest they go?

What do you want them to do, walk out into some secluded spot, like the Inuits, and curl and die, don,t forget, one day you'll be old as well.

Not any more there isn't. It's pretty much all ripped up ready for the garden makeover.

Golf sounds good on paper; spend the day trying to drop your balls in as many holes as possible. Then you realise it's just an adaptation of hockey for people that either can't run or don't look good in shorts.

You could be onto something there? Like Logans run but with a revised shelf life of 60...

Trust me Climate, the sight, not to mention the smell, of a body, two weeks old left in a hot environment, is not a memory I would wish on anyone.
