Can't believe a mod has approved this - should be binned with the rest of the cockroaches

Registered users posts are pre approved? Otherwise you wouldn't be able to post instantly. Would you prefer every post be submitted for approval?

Newcomers posts must be approved by a moderator, however it does not take long before they are pre-approved.This is to validate the user is legitimate. Though on its own it is not perfect, we do have other systems in place in case they post negative content after moving to a pre-approved group.

For example once a post receives a certain amount of dislikes it will be hidden, with the option for the visitor to view it. You can set your personal threshold in your account settings.

You can find out how about the user groups ladder system here.

I first saw the post waiting mods approval then a few hours later it was approved and visible. I assumed that a mod had done that. If that's not the case then apologies to the mods - its the site that's cr@p ;-) Come on owners, get it right, its not hard!

Hands up - it was my fault. I didn't read it properly and made the assumption it was a cut and paste from the council website about scores on the doors. Wasn't paying attention - slaps own wrist.

Came back to it earlier, realised my mistake and rejected it as it WAS spam.

Mod error - not site error.

I originally thought it was Manchester Council's pest control until I put the URL into a browser - I've done this all before ;-)

Thanks for owning up! :thumbs-up: :thumbs-up:
