Stockport Carnival
Stockport Carnival is an annual event held in July to raise money for local charities. It is also to keep the community spirit alive and to give the people of Stockport a great day out.

Stockport Carnival this year is the 20th July 2013 and we are looking for more people to enter our parade. Why not have a float or walk the parade it is a good way of advertising your group or just ask a few friends and dress up and collect for our charities it’s a great day out. or if you would like to help on the field we would love to see you.

The parade starts from Belmont Way at 1pm and continues down the A6 towards the Town hall where the procession is acknowledge by the Mayor of Stockport, it then continues down Edward Street turning right across St Mary’s way before turning right into Turncroft Lane and finishes at Woodbank Park Offerton where there’s all the fun of the fair and lots of charity stalls.

Fancy Dress contest takes place in the Queens Arena at 2-30 before the main event on the day   the Crowning of the Stockport Carnival Queens at 3pm

We have a large car boot for 80 cars so please come and enjoy the day .
