Hi..i was wondering if there would be jobs fr my 14 year old son anywhere..thanks

Hi, don't know what sort of work your son is looking for, but, the newsagent, on the A.6 near the crossing at Hope street, has a permanent ad in the window for paper deliverers, hope it's some help, good luck to him.

He will need a work permit that stipulates his hours of work.Nothing before seven o'clock, nothing after seven o'clock. The employer should provide him with this paperwork

Joseph - when I was about 14 - 15 I remember that the cafe at Brookside garden centre used to employ quite a few under 16s. You could give them a go even if it's just pot washing.

This is going back almost 7-8 years ago mind!
