Fire crews in mission to rescue cat from Viaduct
Interesting story about the rescue of a cat from Stockport Viaduct on the Manchester Evening News website.

Fire crews are working to rescue a cat which is stranded on a viaduct ledge 90ft above Stockport. It's not known how the cat reached the ledge, which is 5ft from the top of the viaduct and 90ft above Chestergate near Stockport bus station.

Kishore Kapoor, 55, who works at a cabinet making firm under the viaduct, said: "It's a black and white cat. There is no way it can get down, and if it jumps it will be splattered."
