Review for J J Moons

I think i can honestly say this is my favorite pub in Ruislip. Cheap and chearful, and the sunday roast is amazingly good. I would definitely recommend for a lazy Sunday Lunch and a couple of drinks to relax and chat to friends.

Review for Got Rice
By Poppy S. on 19th March 2013

I had the misfortune to be curious about this place with its very inviting name to go for lunch there today, I wish i hadn't. Once i was seated, i was given a menu and I duly ordered, prawn dim sum (£3), Seafood noddle soup (£6.70) and Chinese Tea (£1). I asked for my dim sum to come first and soup after. You would expect to be brought the drink immediately but not here, I waited for 15 mins and asked the waiter what was happening with my tea, to which he said it should...

Review for Cedar Tree
By Poppy S. on 19th March 2013

I went to this Lebanese Restaurant with my boyfriend for dinner, and i can't praise it enough. The food was great and we had the weekday deal of either 3 mezes or 1 meze and a main for 12.95. For my starter i had humous with shredded pieces of lamb served with Lebanese bread, my boyfriend had the Hallumi in Lebanese bread which were both amazing and enough to fill up up. Yet we still had the the mains to come. We both had the mixed grill for our mains which was meat galore...

Review for Twin Boys Thai Restaurant
By Poppy S. on 3rd March 2013

Lovely thai food at affordable prices. The staff are attentive, if a bit slow but can be forgiven. The toilet is a bit lacking, not meant for big people (am not a bif person - honest!). I would recommend the restaurant. All the short falls are adequently compensated for by the nice reasonably priced food. The wine is hit and miss, for my money, I would give the wine a miss. Enjoy!!

Review for Ruislip

Ruislip is pretty good for transport links. Not far from Heathrow, you can get there by taxi in 15 minutes or so or you can go by the piccadilly line from Ruislip tube station. The central line starts in Ruislip and takes you right into the middle of London in about 40 minutes. It is easy to get into central London from about 6am and easy to get back out until around midnight. There are a lot of shops in Ruislip with several high streets which are all quite vibrant. I can...
