Im going to keep this simple skum of the earth in order

1. Journalists
2. Politicians
3. Promotors

All 3 dont give a damn about anything other than themselves because they cant do anything else in their sad unconstructive lives and in no way will they ever change.

We'll just have to agree to disagree on this one, Climate. The rumours are that the paper was forking out over 100,000 a year on payments to informants - a significant number of whom seem likely to have worn the blue uniform! - and presumably that's without the doubtless significant fees that private investigators like Mulcaire would have charged for setting it all up. I just can't believe that payments of that order could be made without someone pretty senior signing them off.

Boycott Sky? Listen to yourselves shooting bullets and asking questions later.

It wouldn't happen. This country is filled with too many self centered people, the type who bought newspapers in the first place that were filled with tittle-tattle.

Did you not just notice that enough people brought enough pressure to bear on the NotW advertisers that they had to scrap the paper? Do you not believe there are that many people at least willing to target Sky advertisers/call for a boycott in the event of a NewsCorp takeover? As for your argument about automatic takeover bid once 30% has been reached, I would just ask how long NewsCorp has owned 39% of Sky? Is it not ever since the merger with BSB?

Is it not possible that Murdoch got rid of the NotW to reduce his stake in the media world to give him more strength to buy BSkyB. The Holy Grail to his empire.

The Rupert Murdoch is savvy but ruthless. What he wants he usually gets, irrespective of who he crawls over or sh*ts on!

Oh dear... Where should I start with this? PMSL.

You are clearly too dense for me to attempt to educate in the ways of the stockmarket and the difference with a captive audience. ONLY Sky has Sky and the sport channels. A paper can report ANY news. Stick to working in the factory that smells of cat urine.
