And you problem is ?

They are already don't   traffic control stats in the bredbury area

They have not got the funding for the whole   project

They are only proposing to do the road to the A6   at Simpsons Corner

Having met the head planner twice    , I am familiar with the facts

I'll second that Adora!

I for one am 'on the fence' when it comes to this road!

As far as i can see there are good points and bad, and i am edging toward the belief that the good out weigh the bad! I can understand why some strongly oppose it, but not all of us do. And most i think would whole heartedly support it if it was the full road through to Bredbury!

I don't have a problem Noroadm, just don't speak on my behalf thanks. Not all of "us" are against the proposed road or the through-road to Bredbury. You are - that's fine - express your opinions. Just don't make it sound like the rest of the population holds your opinions too - not everyone does.

Agree Coleman - I can appreciate the disadvantages, but right now, based on the facts I do have, the advantages outweigh the disadvantages.

The facts are

1. Protected woodland is not being protected

2. Traffic flows are decreasing

3. The cost of the road will double

4. Earback scheme will mean that the Tax payer will utlimatly have to pay for the road

5. The lib dems met insecret with the government to fast track this road

6. A consultation means   just that, People are entitled to theit opinion
Some are for it because it wont effect them

Some are against it - because it will and that is an increasing number of our community daily

My veiws are of my own opinion - not because I am a moderator. I'm not inclined to agree or disagree with just as we are of the same level on the forum.

Woodland and green belt is going to have to go in long term - the population increases, it's an unfortunate inevitabiliyu.

I don't know much about traffic flows, but as I said this can not make things any worse.

I'm not concerned with the cost - of course the taxpayer will have to pay? Who else is going to? Alan Sugar?

When and where the meetings were held is now irrelevant we're looking at going forwards.

I will be affected by it - just because its a positive effect doesn't make it any less valid I'm afraid.

Again it's all just opinions - negative ones are naturally expressed more than positive ones.

noroadm, you're attitude needs a good talking to.

Let me guess, your property is affected by this? Did you pay for the searches or did you ignore them? Either way...lump it.
