Well, I've watched this 4 times and still can't figure out where the 'ell it's supposed to depict. Can someone else have a watch and see if you can fathom it?

Right at the beginning, what's that first road, like a T.junction?

What's the A6 bus bridge?

What's the big building on the right hand side of the Macc road junction?

Did you get the letter about the consultation? It has a map in there.

The map depicts new roads coming off the A6 to get you onto the "relief road", so the first bridge you see in the video ("A6 Bus Bridge") would be the current A6. I believe one of the councillors stated that that part of the A6 would have bollards to create a bus only road.

The next junction you come to has Brookside garden centre to the left and the Fiveways to the right.

Interesting to see how it will (might?) look.

Nooo - not seen a leaflet yet but I know they're out there because friends have had theirs. I'll go on the Semms site and see if it's pdf'd on there.

I'm not getting this bus bridge idea! Where does the other A6 traffic go?

Ah, I see...the t.junction road is like a straightened out A6. Thanks Tyra.

That's all going to cause a smidge of traffic congestion and delays when it's being built, innit!?

Still cannot make my mind up about this - will it shift some traffic from the centre of the Grove by taking High Lane traffic out before it gets to us or will it add to traffic in the Grove as more folk come through to get to the new road...

I don't understand why they've put a t junction when most other bypasses in the country end with a roundabout!
At least that keeps traffic flowing, that t junction is a traffic jam waiting to happen, it will backlog into hazel grove and high lane!
That's my only concern is that junction and the fact it cuts through some of hazel groves lovely greenery like the protected woods.

I am concerned that all the buildings look like cardboard boxes? Is this the future?

A number of the junctions have options that are being consulted upon as part of the first phase of consultation (22nd October 2012 – 25th January 2013) and the 3D Visualisation will be modified following this... "NOT SET IN STONE"

i presume the a6 juntion must be set in stone as theyre not giving you an option or your view on that section, strange as i would have thought that would be one of the main junctions with options as its where everyone gets on and off and theyve selected a t junction whereas most bypasses end with roundabouts so that surely will cause traffic having to stop for traffic lights?
strange how theyve not given an option for this part of the rd though?
