"Think Safe Act Safe" Poster
29th May 2013 at 4:09PM, Edit: 29th May 2013 at 4:56PM by AndySK
Is there anything we can do to get rid of the poster by the lights at sainsburys advertising that "react" book? You know the one...it's been there since forever:

Google Maps Image

The image on the poster of a woman getting attacked is not the most savoury image to have to look at every single day on the morning commute...surely it can be pulled down or replaced with a more cheery message without anyone kicking up a fuss?

A few weeks ago my daughter, who is 5 asked me, "mummy what's wrong with that lady".

I agree, if it can be, it should be removed.

I'm well aware of the ol' "dont like it? dont look at it" approach, however I just thought it would be a nice idea to suggest a small an inexpensive improvement for our little village.

I have lived around here for almost 30 years, noticed the poster whilst driving, but never acknowledged it, never read, or studied it. It is just part of hazel grove furniture. It makes you wonder what else you never notice. Believe me you can drive through familier areas, and everything appears the same. But when your a passenger, you notice things you didnt even know where there.

You could always knock on the door and ask the owner. The company is PS5. www.ps5.com

Steve, the owner, is approachable enough .. but don't annoy him ;-)
