Fully support it! I think it would be a great little estate and a lot more attractive.
Not sure why public transport links are of any concern? The A6 is within 10 minutes walk, as is the 374 route?
The same as living anywhere else that side of the A6?

What's going on with Norbury House? I'm surprised the farm didn't buy it back.

This one slipped under the radar?

It was raised on here wrt extra traffic it would generate about 12 months ago in a topic.

It was! And it's good to see that the plans seem to be progressing well!

I really do think it could be really good thing for HG, And at the very least is a much better option then allowing the old buildings on site just rot away!

As you slip into dotage, things seem to be forgotten!

Trouble is there isn't a search on here or is there? So many broken topics on the same point as you trawl back on the list. So you can't follow the developments/history of a point raised some time later.

What does 'affordable housing' mean? I live near there, and I don't want a pseudo council estate on my doorstep.

Affordable doesn't mean council. A couple on an 'average' Hazel Grove salary will struggle to buy in the area without a huge deposit. This gives them an option.

Hazel Grove Primary School have recently gone up to from a 1 form intake to 1.5.

There are plans in the future to take it back upto a 2 form intake.

This should be enough to meet demand.
