So.. Who will be going to see the Olympic Torch pass through Hazel Grove?

What the hell are they coming down pepper road for? It's an industrial estate and none will be here on a Sunday!

This is where the hoards of people will be stood cheering! Hah no, then its a 'Crew Break' and then I believe its onto Ashton where the torch will be lit from a burning car lol.

I dread to think what they would choose to light it from for the Stockport leg! Plenty of things to choose from though!

I'll certainly be going to Pepper Road. It's a privelage to have the Olympic Torch coming so close to home.

Hope they got enough fuel to keep it burning while they're sat in hazel grove traffic!

I think the point is that they run/walk with the torch rather than take it in a car!

Haha I didn't even look at the time it's travelling through but who knows if they decide to dig asda up again for a few months for a laugh there might be traffic!!!

Headlines in the following day's paper. Torch delayed by temporary lights on Bramhall Lane - quote from local politician,"there is a big hole and I'm looking into it!"

It would be interesting to know what % of local people are not interested in this at all.
Yes it may only happen once in your lifetime but in all honesty there are better ways to spend an afternoon.
I guess the fact itís going to Pepper Rd is nothing to do with the fact that Addidas UK is based there!
