Did anyone else suffer the brainless idiots who still think it's a good idea to use fireworks after 11:00pm?
My two small people plus dog were less than impressed.

Hi Adora,
I too was thinking how qt it was, could it be the lull before the storm?
We took our little grandaughter to the scout hut and it seemed like when they had finished that was pretty much it, i can't say i heard much after that.
Last night seemed a little strange for bonfire night. what do you think?

You know i never gave that a thought, but no there wasn't that morning after smell, maybe like you say its tonight. Poynton is on tomorrow so you might get your fix Sunday morning. when i passed the firework shops they still looked pretty full to me.
Think most people are going to the organised ones its cheaper in the long run (i think).

Saturday will be the loudest night.
Mrs Blue and I are venturing out into HG for the first time since "black saturday." The plan is drink just enough to get a good nights kip, but not enough to stop you attending the rememberance service in the morning.

How'd the night out go, Blue?

Poynton fireworks were good but blardy 'ell, it was wet & cold. The wind was howling straight in to my back. Wish I'd worn me big knickers! Glad to leg it back to the car and get home!

Mother-in-law tells me there were some big bangs down Torky Park way on Saturday and she said it was the loudest night.

Still rather more low key than previous years though. The new fire work laws must be having a positive impact! Yaaaay!

The night went well thanks, went out early doors, home by 7:30, Chinese in the belly by 8:30.
