Am I the only person that thinks it's not too wise to leave a sodding great crane and piling rig that close to a main road (Simpsons corner) during downtime at a time period when high wind and rain (freeze thaw) are expected?

I'm normally a bit 'blah' about health and safety but that seems beyond stupid, they are sat on piles of mud with shingle/stone chipping tops!?!

I drove past today and thought the same, really no need to park that crane virtually hanging over the road. They could of at least put the boom down. Having said that it would take some wind to topple it. Looking at it I would say the worry is the land underneath could give way due to the torrential rain...Have to agree on this one!
