Perhaps start a topic about your road and explain your issue there..

drag queens???? just what the grove needs?

Hmmm, i thought the same thing to be honest. Got to be very careful what i say here but having seen a number of people outside the bar on this weekend it is obvious the bar is aimed at a specific group of people and im not sure that the Grove really needs a bar of this type - each to their own but there was a seven foot bloke in high heels and a blonde wig meeting and greeting. Surely this would be more apt in a cosmopolitan city centre rather thean a suburban village?

I am probably going to get slated and called a homophobe now but hey ho, these are just my thoughts.

Thinking about it, I may have to change my user name on here, otherwise i might start to get marketing mail from them

I drove past and saw him too!

Is the place actually a gay bar? it does seem that way (intentionally or not)!

If there is a market for it then fair play, Hazel Grove isn't exactly know for its gay scene though so it will be interesting to see how well it does!

It's ok if that's the rules, not sure the landlord wouldn't mind a plug though, when we play in his pub
