Since its name change I can no longer get the Cock Hotel mixed up with the Bird in hand, refering to it as the Cock in hand...

Hi Doris, glad to see you back. I'd noticed you weren't around, thought maybe the arthritis was stopping you typing or the dementia stopping you from remembering your password.

To be honest, I've not been in either place for over a decade. I remember wiping my feet as I left.   pissed-off

Hello Limecat, have you missed me ? I have to say I agree with you on the Cock Inn ! It certainly was a dump. The last time I was in there a women scared me behind the bar, she had more gold on than Mr T !

Norma hasn't been out of his parents spare room since 1884. He still thinks there is a police station at the end of commercial road.

I'm not familiar with Commercial road? Is that where the poor people live? If so, you wouldn't catch me there in fear of catching some common ailment; like a love of Netto, Farmfoods or Aldi.
