Discoloured water?
1st March 2012 at 11:13AM, Edit: 7th March 2012 at 9:23AM by Adora
Live near Sainsburys, just noticed the water is slightly off colour. Anyone else? I've let the tap run for a while but still seems a little off.

Just had a text from my brother and came on here to see if anyone had backed the story up - apparently a pipe has burst and 'affected SK7 water'. Thats all I know, but will be avoiding it!

Thanks for letting me know Coleman, I'll put the info here too:

Because of the burst mains, Chester Road, Hazel Grove & Woodford Road, Poynton will be closed to through traffic for at least 5 days whilst repairs are completed by United Utilities.

Sorry, meant to quote your post over but in the time it took to reply and lock the other thread it fell out of my head!

Must have been some burst if the road is closed for 5 days!
